Those videos made me laugh, they're brilliant... the car is like a moving wall! I thought he could be described as a real road hog! It's so funny when you see that little puff of explosion at the end of the third video, his rampage has finally come to an end hehehe

yo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!amamzing!!!it needs sounds, i think u shoudl use ur own noize, or maybe the actual sounds from the game but relly really really REALLY loud and distorted. mayeb parts of the visuals would be in time with it. i really liek those little bits where things are shattering?? tiny whit elines that sort of appear??? the second one is amazing when you see the bits of road sifgns and people, i imagine if i didnt have any idea it was carmageddon unitl the end it woudl be much more ++++confusing+++++:-) and the thisrd one where there are bits of real things we recognise and th epuff of smoke :-))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!timed or edited to some music or sound would really enhance it. u must be totally pleased it makes those designers republic things look like soem peice of beoring 'graphics' shitty!!!!!! wow u must be totally excited!
Yeah the game sounds sounded pretty amazing throughout some of it, and would be great with distortion/FX, but alas coz i was just videoing from the screen, the camcorder mic audio recording was no good at all. :( I should have bothered to plug the line out into the camera... there are some great noisy metal + engine sounds in the game... and people screaming etc! :)
One thing I was experiemnting with was replacing the in game sounds with my own wav files! that would be the conceptually best way to make a soundtrack for this stuff...
I may do soundtrack for the existing clips some day... I have more footage which i may also do somehting with, tho these clips are the best i think. I've some with cheesy in-camera video effects which actually look pretty cool....

It's good to have it online at last... i wanna try more but alas I don't have Mac OS 9 installed any more on a computer that's powerful enough to run carmageddon smoothly.. :( Will try and get it going on a very fast ocmputer with good 3d card one day, then I could get really nice high-resolution footage with good framerate etccc... tho i do like the somehwat pixelly nature of this stuff.
I do have carmageddon 2, haven't tried editing that yet... i will!!!! It can actually even output movies but I can't get it to save them at a decent quality, they look really over-compressed. :(
well, i think it looks great so pixelly and weird. i forgot to say, this guy came and gave us a lecture last week. he told us about this man who did something similar but with quake. the game was fed through this weird filter thign that messed up the graphics. it was played online by peopel playign the normal version, but the game was then filtered live to this screen set up in a disused cinema. the viewers were able to dso really basic things liek zoom in. so they were watchiugn all these cool patterns and noise happening generated bypeople playign quake on the internet. but it was no way as cool as urs. this year im part of this publication team thing, where we get money to produce small publications and projects and we wil probably do some cool video and noisy nights and it woudl be amazing if you could come and perform soem of ur trickery. thsi si all very vague at the moment, but if i could and you were intrested, i would love to set up some sort of venue for you to perform this things. like maybe that carbon pencil noise thing etc and demonstarting ure circuit bendings. im just trying to print off a A1 picture with the plotting printers at school its gr8!
